1st of Many Dreamz

As ya'll saw last week Paige lves photography. Well guess who else lves it...that's right, ME!

It was about three years ago when I first noticed that my pictures that I took came out pretty well. I started looking after different pics that my friends were posting on facebook and realized that hey I could do that too. So that started the photography dream.

Now it's not the career that I chose (that comes up in a different dream) ,but it is the hobby that I pursue and enjoy immensely.

What kind of photos do I do you may ask? Well...that depends. I do alot of nature shots and unique shots I guess you could say. I also like doing portraits of my family and friends. So I thought I would show you some of my favorites and you can tell me what you think.

Here we go:

I like the simplicity of this photo. I took it after the leaves had all fallen.
Alone
"Swing set stands alone
Lonely as the birdhouse
Winter has come,
All has gone.
Children inside stay warm and dry
The swings sway in the cold, winter air
Alone."

Winter Wonderland

Sunset over Kansas

Chick-a-dee-dee-dee

Beautiful butterfly: Oh how I lve butterflies

Caught this while I was in West Virginia...thought it was pretty neat

Also in West Virginia when I took this one. Water from the fountain there in the pond

This is one of Paige's favorites (and mine). I just lve the colors

Clementine
A female Cardinal. There's a male and a female who lives next to us. Lve the brightness of her beak.

If you lve photography as much as Paige and I. Then follow your dream. Look at other pictures for inspiration. Look at the beautiful world around you. It's amazing what you can capture through the lens of your favorite camera. Sometimes when I'm not sure what I should take a picture of, I just look through the view finder and look around. It's truly wonderful the things that capture my attention.

I hope you enjoyed today's blog. Feel free to comment.
