Thanks So Much

Dear DolzDreamzzz Followers & Customers:

We are writing this to express our sincerest thanks for all of your support and participation in our journey with DolzDreamzzz! We have come so very far from where we began – yet that wouldn't matter in the least if it were not for you, sweet ones! So, thank-you. So very, very much. You've all been delightful, and we are so pleased to know that we have made many friends and acquaintances along the way.

Sadly, the time has come for DolzDreamzzz to close. Permanently.

We had ideas of continuing to grow, passing on the business to siblings, seeing it last our lifetime etc. – we most certainly hadn't been planning to end the adventure so soon! That wasn't in the blueprints...until the end of last year. It was hard to keep up with one of us in college - and now with both of us having to work so much, both of us being in school this fall, and family and church as priorities, we simply do not have the time to make anything of DolzDreamzzz. 

Perhaps, someday, we could start something new when we can truly invest our time, and the watch a new business grow as big as we can manage. We could take all of the lessons we learned from our time with DolzDreamzzz and apply them, as well as new strategies and dreams, to a new venture.

Perhaps, someday, you will see us in the entrepreneurial world once again.

Cousin/Sister Outfits Just Listed

We have had these outfits finished for over a month now, but only just listed them.

The similarities between the two outfits cause us to think of them as cousin or sister outfits. They are sold separately, but that's not to say you couldn't have them both - even in time for Christmas!

It's An Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny...

...Start to 'the big change'. We've changed our cover photos in everything, have all new listings in the shop, and have only skimmed the surface of what we hope to accomplish. So far so good though!

This week's items happen to all contain navy, white, stripes, and extremely affordable prices...

We have 3 scarves, all of which are nearly identical to the listing photos.

1 slouch jacket 

 and two different kinds of maxi skirts, with two of each available. 

The difference is in a single side seam - and no, this doesn't change the price at all.

So while the shop appears to have 4 listings, it really holds a total of 8.

The plan is to have a few more listings (similar kinds, different colors) next weekend.

Last Day

The Gals at DolzDreamzzz are getting ready for a new season - both in shop and out! 

In order to be able to continue DolzDreamzzz and keep up with life, several major changes are being made to how we do things, who does what, and how we go about interacting with customers and potential customers (plus the ever-adorable gawkers; the level right before potential customer, in case you didn't know). We thought that while we were at it, we'd go ahead and do a  complete DolzDreamzzz overhaul. That means the shop, blog, Facebook page, and Pinterest are all going to undergo a basic makeover, as well as a redo of how some of these outlets are 'run'. 

{If you are new to us, run is in quotation marks because this summer, as we ran about frantically in our day to day lives, our shop moved slower than a snail. We tell ourselves that we were taking all that time to mull things over - and we have been, too, but that's a lame excuse for not keeping up and sewing anything...or posting, or pinning, or making a peep whatsoever}

THURSDAY {9-19-13}

is your last day to purchase anything we currently have in our shop.

FRIDAY {9-20-13}

our shop will go into vacation mode for at least a week (till 9-27-13)

at which end we will reopen with a brand new look, brand new stock, and a brand new plan. 

The same day or day after the shop reopens, the remake to our blog, FB, and pinterest will be complete. 

For local customers - 

 We have a booth at Malta Community Day (if you visit the link, view page 4 for details including location) and will be there all day from 10 AM to 4 PM. The remainder of our shop items will be available for purchase there, as well as several new items. There will also be a raffle at our table - be sure to stop by and enter! We will draw a name at the end of the day, contact the winner, and send them their prize for free!

August Custom Order

Well, hello hello! 

Imagine - we are still very much so alive! {Yes, even we are shocked}

Oh, and look! So are you! How lovely is that?! 

We should celebrate or something...

While we think of how to PaRtAy! over our apparent mutual aliveness (is that a word? Oh well, it is now), you might be interested in the pics we took of a blue and grey striped tee a lovely Miss E requested us to make. Miss E contacted us about a previously sold listing, and asked if we could make another, either the same or similar. We could indeed, and so we did. 

(probably a little obvious by now, since we crawled outta our hermit holes to tell you all about an August custom order....)

Miss E also happened to be a returning customer, and we wanted to thank her for her repeat business. We sent an extra tee with her order, and decided to make this post a little longer by adding photos of that as well.

A major downside to not blogging in so many moons is that all my contained weirdness and odd ways run rampant in the first few posts until I get it out of my system. I should try some sort of writing therapy. Or chocolate...
